What information do we collect?
When visiting our website there are several services requiring personal information to be supplied. A visitor may need to do this to ensure that a booking for an assessment or a taster lesson can be booked. In order to contact us or utilise our online book ordering service, certain personal contact details must be given, including name, postal address, email address and contact telephone number. This information is necessary to ensure that any booking of an assessment or taster session is done so in good faith and if cancelled within 24 hours of the .assessment time or taster session time booked is chargeable as our Qualified Teachers are paid in advance for the sessions allocated to them. Equally, if a free assessment is booked and it becomes clear that the parent had no intention of enrolling on any of our structured courses, then we are at liberty to charge for the assessment because the Qualified Teachers will have assessed and provided professional feedback concerning reading ages, spelling ages, comprehension levels, reasoning levels and mathematical ability.
